A vital upgrade to the existing facilities at Federation Park

Aimed at enhancing the user experience through improved functionality, accessibility, and design. The refurbishment involved a complete modernisation of the building to meet DDA compliance and the use of modern fixtures and finishes to provide the general public engagement in this new facility. The project also extended to the exterior, where the façade received a significant facelift to blend naturally with the park's environment and the addition of a new pathway from the carpark, improving navigation and aesthetics.

Special features of the project included the meticulous adherence to DDA standards for accessibility, the thoughtful upgrade of the external façade, and the introduction of functional and visually appealing signage. An external hardwood awning was also constructed, adding architectural character and providing shelter. Despite the challenges of operating within an active park and adhering to strict deadlines, the project team successfully navigated these obstacles through careful planning and effective management, culminating in a rejuvenated facility that serves as a welcoming, inclusive, and integrated part of Federation Park.
