This project involved meticulous upgrades to the male, female, and accessible bathrooms, boosting the comfort and convenience for members and guests. In tandem with the interior refurbishments, the club's facilities were expanded to include a brand new office space, designed to cater to the administrative needs of the bowling club staff. This addition has created an efficient and professional environment for the behind-the-scenes operations of the club.
Further enhancing the club's accessibility, a newly constructed concrete pathway now leads members and visitors to the reimagined entrance. Providing wheelchair access directly from the carpark and ensuring that the club's commitment to accessibility is both practical and welcoming. The project, however, was not without its challenges. Unforeseen discrepancies between architectural plans and onsite conditions called for on-the-fly ingenuity, particularly with the structural and concrete trades. Additionally, the electrical switchboards, which proved inadequate for the new electrical demands, underwent a necessary upgrade. Through proactive management and adaptive problem-solving, the project team successfully overcame these obstacles, culminating in a space that is not only compliant but also inviting and streamlined for all members.
